Compliance Monitoring Manager (m/f/d)

Job description

On behalf of our customers (airlines and business jet operators) we are continuously looking for Compliance Monitoring Managers in accordance with Regulation (EU) 965/2012 and/or (EU) 1321/2014. Consideration will be given to candidates who meet both the requirements from EU 965/2012 and EU 1321/2012 or who can, or wish to, work only in the area of Air Operations or Continuing Airworthiness based on qualifications.

Requirements in detail

Air Operations
  1. Practical experience and expertise regarding the commercial operation of aircraft and in the application of operational safety standards
  2. Evidence of comprehensive knowledge of:
    1. Regulation (EU) 965/2012 and/or (EU) 1321/2014
    2. Contents and function of compliance monitoring systems
    3. Auditing and inspection practices
  3. Evidence of participation in relevant training courses on “Fundamentals of Compliance Assurance and Auditing” and “Compliance Assurance in Aviation Companies”
  4. The applicant shall have relevant operational experience and in-depth knowledge of related regulations to understand and assess the overall context of the relevant operations and associated risks. This knowledge can be demonstrated by successful completion of a Management Systems Course
Continuing Airworthiness
  1. Relevant knowledge, background, and sufficient experience in continuing airworthiness management of aircraft
  2. Relevant knowledge, experience, and application of aviation security standards
  3. Comprehensive knowledge of relevant EU operational and maintenance regulations and related rules, requirements and procedures
  4. Knowledge of or training on:
    1. Human factors
    2. Safety Management Systems including Compliance Monitoring and ICAO Annex 19
    3. Maintenance methods
    4. Safety training
    5. Fuel Tank Safety training according to Appendix XII to AMC1 M.B.102(c), if applicable
  5. Five years of relevant professional experience, of which at least 2 years in an appropriate position in aviation
  6. As a professional qualification:
    1. a technical university degree, or
    2. a university degree in subjects relevant to the maintenance and continuing airworthiness of aircraft, or
    3. a qualification as an aircraft technician as defined in Part-66 Cat B with additional training.

Note: The requirement as per no. 06 may be replaced by five additional years of relevant professional experience in addition to those of no. 05.
