Beginning with his studies of communication sciences, York Bothe completed a solid training as industrial clerk with focus on IT. Fascinated by IT, he spent the following 25 years working in all areas of IT, as a customer in the construction and banking sectors, and as a consultant for leading IT manufacturers. As an IT service provider or as a technical sales consultant he advised the TOP 100 companies in Germany on their IT data center strategies. Business-oriented selling, trained by “The Challenger Sale” and “The Challenger Customer”, was one of his main sales areas, as well as the development of the technical sales staff in his role as manager. Whether it is a change in corporate strategy (e.g. digital transformation), a company takeover, a company sale or constant personal development, change is his constant companion. In 2018 York Bothe has reoriented his business and personal coaching activities.
